So as we start another week of NFL football, and therefore another week of bashing My Quarterback, I just ran across a stat that I thought Id share with all the Romo Haters. Yeah, I know, no Super Bowls and a 1-3 post-season record, but I found this interesting. You know who the 20th Highest Winning Percentage as a Starting QB in the history of the NFL (for qualified starters) belongs to? Not HOFers Y.A. Tittle (22nd), Troy Aikman (27th), Bobby Layne (29th), Fran Tarkenton (34th), Dan Fouts (41st), or Warren Moon (42nd). Not Phil Simms (21st), Drew Brees (24th), or Eli Manning (33rd). Nope, the 20th highest winning percentage of all time in the NFL as a qualified starting QB, belongs to a guy whos been behind center on teams that were so bad around him that THREE times in his career, his seasons ended 8-8. And STILL, #9 is the 20th most-often winning QB ever. Thats not inflated yardage or TD stats in this through-the-air offensive league of today, thats WINS! Just thought Id share. Go Eagles! Lose Like Crazy!
