So as you know Zumba is ONE outlet for fitness. And Zumba Fitness is great. There are other great ways to get physical activity. And it is important to round out your workout with cardio, strength or resistance training, and stretching. Each type of workout helps the body stay in good working condition. Stretching keeps us flexible and fluid in our movements. Resistance/strength training increases bone density and... well strengthens different muscle grps. And cardio keeps our cardiovascular sys running well (among many other benefits from all 3 types). Think of your body like a car. In order for it to run well you need to take of it. A car runs off of specific things such as gas, oil, and different type of fluids specific to each part of the car--Gas in gas tank, transmission oil in the transmission, etc. In the same light there are specific things our bodies need as well. So put the best in your body to be the best for yourself, your life, and those around you!
