So at approximately 2:30 today I asked Kylah to put make tea. (We use the smallest pot that comes in a set of pots and pans to make tea in.) We left the house at 2:50. When we came home at 7:00 we discovered that Kylah had not, in fact, ever finished making tea. IT WAS STILL ON THE STOVE. That was one heavy duty pot. The handle did not melt, but started making a pile of ash underneath. The teabags had become ash. It is by pure grace the house is still standing. It smells so horrible in here, like melting plastic. It is making me nauseous and giving me a headache. So yeah... That happened.
