So back in 2006, during my days at Carleton when I had to teach a seminar on the evolution of computer sound, I had a really annoying time finding the music of the British composer of Commodore 64 music, Ron Hubbard. Most of my searches for the SID Chip composer yielded results instead for the noted scientololgist leader, L. Ron Hubbard. I assumed this was just to the name similarity, but as Chris Wunderlich recently pointed out, both Hubbards were in fact composers of electronic-type musics. So, heres a piece from the other Hubbard. Despite its horse-ness (sic)?, its surprisingly tonal; something I would have never expected from such a radical sort. Anyway, enjoy!? https://youtube/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=CtxWlTIWRHo
