So based upon my dismal evening of horribly depressing TV, I sign off tonight with what I wrote today on my script. It is about hope and life energy. I will continue to write and create entertainment with more value and substance. ROSE Wait. I worry about Nadia everyday. She needs to be found. I should have stopped Nicholas that day. My hand brushed his the day he bought the stationary, and I felt such an energy pass through me. It was the weight of thousands. I became physically ill after this, and I closed my shop and headed home early. Moments later my shop was destroyed. I should have stopped him.Farley turns around and walks toward Rose. He takes her arm and turns her around to face him. She has tears in her eyes. Farley Rose its not your fault. You could have never imagined such a horrible tragedy. I am sure it was an energy that you have never felt-- ROSE And one that I hope to never feel again. I know now the curse of my gift. I have not slept the same in ten years. Its as if the weight of every soul that perished overwhelms my own life energy. If I can help find Nadia and bring some healing to her life then maybe I can carve out some small peace in my own soul. Farley I understand. I am fighting my own demons on this one. ROSE So Morris told you? Farley Yes. So you know? ROSE Not from Morris. Nadia talked about you incessantly. Do you know how hard that was for me? I never dreamed I would meet another person that was as obsessed with collecting love letters as much as you. Farley I guess you should have considered that before you opened a stationary shop. You were bound to run across a few. Farley looks at watch. Farley (CONT’D) I have to get back. I promised Morris and Catherine that I would have dinner with them tonight. Morris told me if you are up for it that her parents have placed her items in storage in the city. Do you think you can still sense energy from her items? ROSE Yes. This is very good. Very promising. Energy knows no boundaries. It flows through everything. Hope attracts energy. Her parents have not stopped hoping so energy still flows. Where hope is energy will always be found. It is an undeniable life force.
