So because time is not constant in the universe, and its pretty much only relevant to where you are, because mass effect gravity > effects time, hence the hypothesis that if you found a phenomenon that was big enough in mass to create enough gravity to warp time (and space), that was safe enough to pass through without getting crushed, you could actually travel in time - but maybe only forwards... I apologize to all physicists for my explanation, and take no responsibility for anyone trying this.
