So busy and blessed these last few days! I still cant wrap my head and heart around it. As some of you know we went to Ocean City Friday. Well Friday after school Evan apparently twisted his foot. ( it wasnt bad when we left and Evan was determined to still go before you assume I just left him that way ) We went with intentions of meeting people of course for our #ProjectBlessing but little did we know the blessing would be on us. .. Saturday, Thrashers fries were calling mom and Kims name. To the Boardwalk we went stopping for Evans crutches on the way. Suddenly I felt the huge need to pray so that I did. After getting there, they ran to Sports Playland to get warm. Letting the kids play a few games, Carmen comes over and hands Evan a voucher for 800+ tickets! She said a man gave them to her. On my way to see this man mom stopped me and gave me another voucher for 15,000 tickets saying he wants each of the kids to have 5,000! As I come around the corner to see whats going on and the gentleman (introducing himself as an ocean city police officer and retired marine and secret service) was interacting with my kids whose faces were completely lit up! Their happiness and shock along with his generosity brought me to tears. Then mom started crying. This man is thanking ME for allowing him to do this. I didnt know what to think. I dont know what to do in these situations bc Im uncomfortable with instances like this. So all I could do was watch him tell my kids to pick out whatever they wanted above and beyond the voucher! He then makes his way over to the rest of us and insisted we get stuff we need. He wouldnt take no for answer. Then his wife joined us who was just as gentle and warm as he was. Like this had to be a dream! Well we wanted pictures with them and afterwards he asked the kids if they were hungry and wanted pizza! Obviously they didnt hesitate as Brayden popped himself right up in her van so I rode with bub, Doug and Evan rode with him and Carmen rode with mom and Britt over to Grottos pizza. On the way, we had great conversation and talked about my business. Ironically she also loves the network marketing and knows some great leaders in the industry! Sitting there having dinner, we talked and laughed and listened like weve known each other all our lives! We talked about the business more and how the products could help with his current condition. We exchanged numbers and connected on facebook... There was something happening that I cant explain. .. like it was Gods work. We invited them to the lights with us and they joined in. We took the kids to see santa while there. After helping us get back to uncle Stans (because the kids couldnt fit with everything we were given) he asked if we could meet again the next day before we left. They invited us into their totally beautiful home and we met most of their children. The kids played and hung stuff on their tree! It was so surreal even still. Then he took us back to the boardwalk and started picking out even more stuff! I literally felt sick to my stomach watching everything my kids were getting knowing the families that were helping this year and those that still need help. He was all for it saying, this is what its all about! Giving to people. Positivity. The world needs it. Now Britt and I have to go back down this weekend just to pick it all up! Hes a Hero! Theyre real Christmas angels! So after this was said and done, not only did we get the biggest blessing for Christmas, not only did he make it possible for us to be able to help out other families. .. This amazing family, gift from God, will be forever in our lives and weve created a beautiful friendship!! I could go on and on about what a great time and how awesome (but some sad) their stories were. I just cant get over this. Im already PUMPED about where this business is taking us and how much my life has changed because of the daily growth and faith it gives me, but now I can do something wonderful in return and pass this blessing on like Ive been wanting to do so badly!!!! IM SO FLIPPING EXCITED! !! I cant put into words the gratitude that we have for what theyve done for us.
