So check this out...Just got done speaking to Slime Warner about an errant charge on my account. Apparently I requested a bandwidth upgrade to 30Mbps DL...Yeah no, my usage would never get close to this and id never request it. So i say i want to downgrade to 20Mbps DL (also faster than ill ever need) and he says if I do that they will have to charge me a Wifi Usage Fee atop of the Modem rental fee. I hate how these companies prey on the perceived naivety of users. The fee is not based on any additional service provided. This would be like leasing a car and being charged a tailpipe vibration fee. Honestly cant wait for these cable dinosaurs with their archaic business models to die off.
