So day six of Home Alone currently in Ravenna. Will be heading on up the S309, a 150km to Venice (3/4 days) Weather has been good the first three days turning a little more British the last two days. I made it to San Marino within two days of leaving, its along way to the roof of San Marino at 729m, but its ticked. Along with the three smallest countries on earth. Done my first foodshop. That was an experience!!! Bike was at 51kg the day i left with a couple of days food on it, I shopped for six days....something like 20+kg!! Ive been strapping and balancing stuff everywhere! :-D Found such a good place to sleep on the 16th on the beach front that I stayed all day the 17th and finally finished my current book Sons and Lovers, save me a couple of 100gs. Next place is Venice via Chioggia, looks remote ish on the map so should be fun. 31 days left to get to Munich, Brenner pass is still open lets keep it that way Mother Nature! X
