So... die off, is that a real thing? The reason I ask is that there are many truths that I feel are either myths or at the very least not confirmed. Metal must never touch your ferments is one example of a highly exaggerated danger. I often see the term die off used to explain an adverse reaction to consuming various fermented things, and it seems to me that other explanations are just as likely. Allergies, bacterial imbalance etc. If you do answer, I would really appreciate it if you would briefly list your qualifications to give a solid answer, or the very least qualify your reasoning. There are many things on the internet to read, but I am more looking for an actual scientifically proven answer. Thanks!
