So each year, we experience trials and blessings that we learn - TopicsExpress

So each year, we experience trials and blessings that we learn valuable lessons from. I personally learned several. First on my list is patience. And I dont mean patients although I had my share! I had always heard hat God doesnt give you more than you can handle. But when you find your plate overflowing, and you cant hold anymore on your shoulders, you question why me?I also learned that it wasnt selfish to ask God for strength. I looked around and seen others suffering through their own battles. And I realized that I was stronger than I thought. Everything happens according to his plan. I also found strength in a song by Casting Crowns- its called I will praise you in the storm. Read the lyrics and youll know what I mean. Another lesson I learned is to listen to your own intuition. That little voice in your head. To act on your own premonitions. You hear the voice but instead of listening, you tend to question yourself. You think that its your sub-conscious telling you what you want to hear. And honestly if you listened to your intuitions, vital decisions you make will have a very different outcome. I have always tried to live with no regrets. However this year I have regret some things I have said and not doing things I shouldve. And now I have to live with these regrets and wishing I wouldve went with the little voice. And I am now asking God to help me with my regrets. Dont hold back your feelings, tell people you love them, show people how much you appreciate them, spend those valuable and precious moments with those you love. Yesterday is a memory, today is a present and tomorrow is a gift that is not promised. So this year my resolutions are changing. If you know me, I have had the same resolution for the past 10 years and I have managed to keep them. My resolution has been to not eat broccoli and not to exercise. I have had no problems keeping those! However this year I resolve tolisten better and act on my premonitions. And I will use patience with everything I do. I wish you all a wonderful and Happy New Year. I pray your year is filled with happiness, health, growth, prosperity, new adventure, no sadness, no regrets, lots of love and the ability to make the most wonderful memories. God bless & bring on 2015!
