So earlier today I watched a documentary called Inequality for All - feature documentary film and I gotta say, its a bit disturbing to hear all the facts with regard to how our government has been handling taxes and basically our economical positioning during the late 70s and on. Interesting fact, when inequality was lowest the top tax rates were highest, and when the top tax rates were lowest, inequality was highest - And it wasnt until Reagan that the tax rates for the highest would drop from over 70%, then below 50% and eventually 30%, basically where they have remained over the past 30 plus years... all we get from this are the fat cats getting fatter while everyone else pays more. So as a country, we were doing best when the top 2% had less tax breaks and were paying their fair share... furthermore, the wealthiest do best when the lower/middle class are doing well. I would highly encourage you to watch this documentary my friends. Extremely telling and you will be presented with a dose of truth. Job well done Robert Reich, keep doing what you are doing. Here is a little teaser to give you all a taste of reality #WakeUp #Inequality #SocialChange
