So earlier today, you saw a photo of mega evolution special 2 with mega metagross, lysandre, and Steven stone. In the first mega evolution special, Alain found a mega stone that closely resembles a gyaradosite. So heres my hypothesis, which I just found out about when I saw this photo earlier and commented on it. In the second special, Alain will somehow meet up with lysandre with Alain still holding onto the stone. Lysandre, like in the game, will have a gyarados. Once he finds out Alain has the mega stone, his gyarados will start reacting to it. He then finds out that his Pokémon can mega evolve. So he will try to get his hands on gyaradosite. If he does, he may admit he is the leader of an evil organisation (team flare), and tell both Steven stone and Alain his plot. And possibly later in the xy series, or possibly even a movie, ash and co will meet up with lysandre, Steven, and Alain and find out about lysandres plan. Then thats when team flare gets involved in the series and the gang try to stop them. And possibly some time in the middle of all this, ash gets a mega stone for one of his Pokémon (I hope its charizard or sceptile) and he stops team flare that way. Ash then gets to keep the mega stone and ring and continue on his journey. So what do you all think of my hypothesis? Think its pretty accurate? Let me know in the comments. -Salamence
