So every day, I see Max huddled down looking so sad and scared. Always in the same spot and same position. I have been worried about how long a normally energetic dog can possibly stay curled up in a ball 24hrs per day without health issues. I have been researching it and talking to all the dog people I run across. I decided today I need to consult a vet. Then... Because he got out of his dog run today and I had to walk the fence line to find his escape route, I noticed several areas that he has dug out. It occurred to me that he lays there in his spot until I leave, gets out and does who knows what, then returns to his spot when he hears us coming. That sad look of fear on his face is actually guilt. Lol. I knew I could see amazing intelligence in his eyes but never would have guessed, we are being PLAYED! Sorry Max, we are onto you now. :)
