So excited! Yesterday, our Ward Mission Leader had a family activity planned, so he asked me to attend the Stake missionary correlation meeting in the afternoon. I was first excited that we have missionaries nearby again (we live in a rather densely-packed LDS area, and the full-time missionaries rotate frequently), but then they passed around update sheets that showed their missionary activities. There are 45 people they are actively working with right now! Forty-five investigators for two missionaries covering eight wards in a stake! :D In fact, they were begging our stake president to arrange a way to make the weekly correlation meetings virtual, or online, because even with constant splits (teaming up with regular members to visit more people and cover more appointments at the same time) they were spread too thin. And then, on top of it all, they had to duck out early for a baptism. Youve gotta love it--a marvelous work and a wonder (Isaiah 29:14)!
