So far, Morocco is heat, dust, the smell of sheep, fresh orange juice, kittens climbing everything, women washing clothes in the river, narrow twisting alleyways in a luminous blue, goat cheese and honey on warm stretchy bread, scarves and blankets and leather slippers and lamps spilling from every doorway, swirling robes, a warm cacaphony of voices, donkeys trotting up stone pathways, children singing wildly under a sliver of silver moon. Pretty damned enchanting. I sure wish you were all here.
