So far, here in Negros, still calm. Windy and dark, but for the most part . . . calm. News reports expect us (in Negros Occidental) to be hit tomorrow sometime. My parents and relatives in Carigara and Tacloban Leyte - are already feeling effects. Yvette Pascual has noted that she has moved to their family house in Marasbaras and water has already gotten into their house - knee level. Power is out. I have lost contact with my parents for hours now - no response by any means (expected). Praying that they are safe from the elements. Landfall is expected in their areas any time from now to within next few hours. weather.ph/announcements/super-typhoon-hagupit-ruby-update-number-012
