So far up to this point, Muses lessons have been in learning to follow and keep step with Snow and I. Today we started the transition for him to learn to focus on my cues alone. This is his very first lesson. This requires absolute patience of both leading horse (Snow) and the trainer. Not only is Snow having to pay attention and listen to my aids in standing quietly or riding one handed doing half-pass, canter pirouette steps and quick departs and short stops, as well as backing up, but now Muse is taking guidance as well from my aids alone and not just Snow and I together. This leads to trust, respect, and obedience of body and mind of more than one horse and can lead to liberty with either OR BOTH horses at once. This was not edited at all to show the rougher moments of what the process looks like as they work through things. I seek nothing less than a solid foundation of obedient, well-roundedness and flexibility of all my ponies from the ground up
