So far we have been lucky, and the community of Kubian has not been impacted by Ebola. Health advisors have come to the community and used the Bountouraby Community School as an education centre to promote prevention. To be on the safe side, the school will not be opening at its usual time in October, until the Ebola virus is no longer a threat. We send our energy and well wishes to the people of Guinea, and their neighbours in bordering countries, to remain hopeful and strong during this scary time.
