So few minutes ago i was driving around the airport road, i couldnt help but notice how shiny and clean the roads were. these are the same roads that get mopped by the KM after a month. Then i saw flags of our neighboring countries who will be here for post Now-Roz celebration. And i realized something...... The Afghan mentality on a larger scale! Usually when an Afghan family receives notification of guests arriving, all hell breaks loose. everyone mops, sweeps, with their sweats dripping down their forehead and after half an hour, VOILA!!! the house is as clean as the Kabul sky after the rain, the glasses are as shiny as your shoes before going to work (what happens to it after you step out is another case) Moral of the story, ARG is treating Kabul like their own home with the most Notorious/Adorable Afghan Mentality :D
