So frustrated.. I go to doctor for hair loss and some very non specific symptoms swollen glands, fatigue, pain etc the Primary Care thinks auto-immune disorder Alopecia Areata and send me for a blood to test for thyroid and ferritin - which came back normal. I am then sent to a dermatologist who I am diagnosed me clinically (through observation) with an Auto Immune Disorder (Alopecia Areata) and didnt take any blood work.. I complain to my shrink then who does Auto Immune screening test for me - all come back negative. In the mean time, I am then referred back to the rheumatologist who diagnosed me in 2009 with Fybromyalgia a central pain processing disorder and an endocrinologist. I see a second dermatologist because rash got worse. She thinks hair loss could be from inflammation from rash. She treats rash and looks for cause with blood test. So far I have come back to allergic to dust mites, cockroaches, grass and shellfish. When I get to rheumatologist today she says: She does not think hair loss, rash, and gland swelling are related to an auto immune disorder and says they are non specific that my other pain symptoms are related to my a central pain processing disorder and gives me a muscle relaxer for pelvic muscle pain that I have had for like ten years.. I STILL DONT UNDERSTAND WHY I JUST GOT A MUSCLE RELAXER FOR PAIN WHEN MY PRESENTING COMPLAINT IS BALD SPOTS.. OR WHY I HAVE SEEN A DOCTOR FIVE TIMES AND STILL DONT HAVE A REASON TO HAVE BALD SPOTS...
