So frustrated. Thought that I was all done with my paper for this week. I went through and answered all of the questions that the syllabus told us to focus on, and almost reached the top limit for word count. Then I looked at the grading rubric for the assignment to make sure I had all of my bases covered, and I find out that there are two more things that I need to address that were not on the syllabus. I now get to spend my time after working tomorrow until 6:15 modifying my paper to encompass two surprise portions, and trimming words from what I already have so that I do not go over the word count. I hate when the rubric asks for things that are not on the syllabus, the syllabus is supposed to explain the assignment, rubrics are just supposed to help the teacher explain their grading process, not to give you more topics to cover. Just glad I checked it before turning my paper in or I probably would have lost a lot of points for not including them.
