So frustrated and stressed out by the whole thing. My Archie was diagnosed with cm/sm aged 7 months. He is 1 year on 17th Jan. He has been on Gabapentin since then and the dosage has been increased a few times then Amitriptyline added. He was then given Prednisolone at a low dose but had to come off it as he was sedated/lethargic. We have been told this week that we can give Archie 50mg Tramadol for pain as needed. The neurologist finally requested some video of Archies symptoms and has looked at these and also got her fellow neurologists to take a look at these videos. She is saying that all the head rubbing, scratching at floor, licking furniture etc are all behaviour problems and recommended that our vet refers us to a behaviourist. We will be getting a 2nd opinion as we can never get hold of the neurologist when needed and very vague answers. Would like some advice please?
