So good day again it seems like after our regatta festival there - TopicsExpress

So good day again it seems like after our regatta festival there are multiple talks about the lack for luster and excitement during this years festival....i have to agree with that line of argument yes cause I was there to experience it....but have anyone paid any attention to what the chairman stated for the lack of exciting onshore activities and factors that may have affected the poor planning and preparation, and do we as citizens even know that the regatta committee was in a case battle about the rightful running of the festival etc...do we even know that it has been alleged that the annual mis Aquaval queen show didnt happen because of funds owed from since last year...and boat men sharing disgust about getting bounce cheque and some truckers etc sharing the same or similar sentiments....while I would not applaud the temporary replacement of a male disguise show on the regatta saturday night or the limited effort of proper onshore activities to satisfy visitors and locals alike...that was a bit lame...because if the people that join the committee to assist/volunteer would think ahead youll know the after math would be condemnation after the poor delivery....this is Carriacou (condemn most help less)....that being said another issue seems to be the wet fete, some people alleged that it is killing regatta 😊...well my opinion on that is this if alot of patrons love something then you dont just blame it and leave out the planning for the festivals activities....so Jigga and Gates promotion....youll and the regatta people need to sit in chambers and work together to better our product....cause think about it wet fetes are great but if the festival crumbles then we cant have a wet fete festival could we lol it....we can make it work with a voice of reason and practicality........thats just my opinion on the matter (I love Carriacou I hope we all succeed and make it)
