So (haha), to me, when people start a response to a question with the word So.., it seems dismissive, as if the question is irrelevant and they are going to say what they are going to say no matter what. It is rude. Its like starting a statement by saying, Again.. as if other person wasnt listening and they are forced to repeat themselves to make the point. Again (haha), as if the recipient was so thick headed they didnt get it the first time. Self-righteous intellectuals and politicians and people who want to seem superior or more knowledgeable do this alot.
