So, having two boys 17 months apart is truly a crazy venture. Hubby & I were talking yesterday about how we can literally *never have them out of sight. For 3 seconds. And since no one sleeps all night, this is a 24/7 gig. They *will hurt each other, pull, squeeze, hit, grab a toy, push down, etc. There are no fewer than 92 daily instances of violence, apologies, discipline. And heres what I know: its different with girls. Do my friends who have close-in-age daughters live in constant anticipation of loss of life or limb?? Maddie was an only for years but was a universe apart as far as my experience raising her. These boys are impulsive, dangerous, competitive, hilarious and unbelievably awesome. I will just be really tired for another - decade?? Ok, vent done. :)
