So, here I am, almost done with one book and my next one isnt due in at the library for quite some time. Whats worse, theres a winter storm projected for tomorrow, which means that if my book DOES come in, I might not even be able to get out to collect it. So I go to the library with this in mind. The nice lady behind the counter asks what sort of genres Im into, and I tell her. We quickly establish that I own nearly every book that Stephen King has ever written, so thats right out, and that Ill need something potentially short in case everything works out just fine and I dont need to worry about the foul weather at all. She leads me to the teen fantasy section. And thats when I see it. Yes, friends, I knew I couldnt ignore this; my local library has the entire run of the Twilight series. And I will be reading them. If this is anywhere NEAR as bad as folks make it out to be, it will be a delightful train wreck. But as a fan of MST3K, I feel I MUST watch the worst movies, and play the worst video games, and now I shall read the worst books. Ill let you guys know how it turns out. Youre welcome, and please prepare to erect a bronze statue in my honor.
