So here I sit at the laundromat on New years day tears in my eyes. Didnt want to be here but necessity made me. I pulled up hoping no one was here but there was a man inside. I grumbled about it and went in. Smiled (fake) and said happy new year. He smiled (real) and said it back. Then he helped me get my laundry in and paid the $6 for the large washer!! My heart softened and we chatted while my load washed. He told me about a cyst in his brain (the surgery quite obvious) and how he wishes he could work but short term memory prevents him in training. What a wonderful thing to happen to me today, I needed his positivity and he said he needed my smile (real now) and listening ears. I felt ashamed and then happy because I rise above my bad mood and Im feeling very blessed right now, despite being at the laundromat on New Years Day! Have a blessed 2015 and look for blessings where you least expect them! 💜💜💜
