So here is my argument on sumo deadlifts. I know as guys we tend to have huge egos and we want to pull heavy weight. However, from a strength perspective in order to achieve maximum strength there is a criteria to follow: 1. Full range of motion. 2. Most muscle mass recruited 3. Heavy volume. Now even though with sumo deadlift you can pull more volume than a regular deadlift you however violate rule number one which is range of motion. In conclusion, regular deadlifts are way better.
