So here is my issue/rant/whatnot. I would post this on the city FB page but it wont let me. I am still miffed at the wetland project here in town. Wonder if the city filed the appropriate and all permits? I would like to see said permits. Would like to know if a fence/barrier is going to be added between the properties and the ponds? I have seen the blueprints and (gasp!) there isnt one in the plans. I have a 3yr old grandson who I do not want to fall in said ponds. How much off an easement us supposed to be between the river and the pond? (Gasp!) there is less than 10 feet as it sits now and I KNOW there is supposed to be more than that. Also isnt the city supposed to notify the residence that they are doing that? And once again gasp! They did NOT. Is this the city doing what they want and how they want? I know the city boo-booed when they filled in the wetland for the industrial park but couldnt they put this wetland where the other one is - behind Northwestern school - instead of ON THE RIVER IN THE MIDDLE OF TOWN???? thank you
