So here is my rant of the day . I am out running in preparation for the marathon. Why cant other people such as walkers and drivers give us runners a break. In one block I am forced off the sidewalk(woman wandering while texting ), then nearly run over in the crosswalk by guy on his cellphone ) But the dumbest was a guy on his bike nearly hitting me because he was trying to text while riding his bike. I guarantee that he lltonatwlt crashed or got hit. I am sick and tired of these near misses just because I want to stay in shape!! I do acknowledge those who politely yield to me while I am chugging along( well 10 min mikes honestly ). So please people put the damn !!! phones away and be more aware of your fellow men and women. I know some runners flout traffic rules and put themselves at risk . But most of ya obey the laws and rules to the letter. Like in the movies unless an emergency it can wait!!! My name is bob the runner and I approve this message. Lol
