So here we are, beginning week 3. Hayden has more strength in his legs, but no change so far in arms, torso or neck. His medical team is encouraged by the changes after just two treatments...but tempering their reaction to remind us that this is long haul. Some kids fully recover, some never do. We continue to hope and pray. H is more awake these past two days, and the struggle is no longer pain, but anxiety. Waiting to hear from (yet) another doc about meds to calm him. My baby is such a champ.
