So here we go...The chest of drawers I posted has gotten lots of reviews. I want to clear something up for the ones who asked. If you didnt ask, or dont care, just keep scrollin. This particular item might fetch $50 in a garage sale. Its old but not priceless. It was scratched to high heavens and not in great shape at all. To get this piece back to looking flawless, it would take lots of sanding, staining and sealing. No one would want to pay big bucks for all the hard work it would take. My customer base is who I cater to, and they typically want painted furniture. I am here for the working class, stay at home moms, tight budget, regular folk who want a comfortable no fuss home. After over 4 years of business, I have sold very little unpainted furniture. As a matter of fact, When I have a real antique, I always offer it AS IS, I give my buyer the option. If it sits in my shop for more than a month not painted, I have to do something about that. 9 Xs out of 10, it is invisible until I paint it, and I sell it within hours. Thats what my customers like, so thats what I do, I appreciate every ones opinions, and I am OK with differences, thats what makes the world go round. I really dont tolerate nasty comments, and for those I simply band & delete, because there is too much of that nonsense going on in the world to put up with it on my lil ol page.
