So heres my dream, heres my thing that I want. Ive talked to a few people about the idea of getting together a group that meets weekly to work on whatever art project you have going on. Painting, sculpture, drawing, crafting, whatever. No minimum skill level, just a group that gets together once a week for about four hours to create stuff and feed of each others creative energy. There are several drawing and painting sessions each week, and other social gathering type deals, but what I would like is a space and a group that just encourages each other, where you work on whatever project you have going at the time, or better yet inspire each other to start that project you dont even have the idea for yet. Ive been focusing on the physical space side of this idea so far, but Im thinking maybe Im going at it the wrong way. Maybe getting a group of four or five people together who really want to make something like this happen is the first step, and figuring out the physical space side will come after. Does this sound like something anyone else would be interested in? If so let me know, cause Im still dedicated to this idea and want to make it work.
