So heres my theory on what really is going on with this whole Ray Rice thing. The NFL was really damn quick in issuing a statement saying the never saw the video from inside the elevator. BS, they have a sickeningly high amount of pull with the law and had that video right off the bat, you can be sure of that. After the outcry about the first punishment Goodell couldnt give in but also needed to do something to save face. After a little change he made publicly, the stiffening of future domestic violence penalties, he waits and then leaks the video to TMZ, then states they never saw the video before now. This gives them the ability to change punishment without showing that public outcry can sway NFL policy. It may sound a bit conspiracy like, but I bet you it isnt too far from the truth
