So heres my thing: after my drawing of the Hulk I had a page of drawing paper that had some smudges around the sides of the page but was pretty clean in the middle. And it had been a long time since Id taken a whack at doing any caricatures. Now, we had watched the Robert Redford movie ALL IS LOST the other evening, and I was struck at how he had aged. Not how much hed aged, as thats to be expected; but the ruggedness of his features, how he really had evolved from a striking leading man to an even more striking character face. And so I thought I could capture a small part of that with a caricature. And this is the result. By the way, the smudges at the sides of the page became the camera flashes enhancing that, despite his years, Redford is still a megawatt star.
