So heres the thing about today and I focused on the Wild Horse Management end on todays BLM Open House type meeting where about 5 or 6 Depts had booths discussing there separate plans and seeking comments. The last one was a heated one with activists fighting for our Wild Ones, so this was kind of ask Questions and get Answers if you believe them. I got a kick out of John there on the Wild Horse end of things and came away baffled on how our Wild Horses are counted in the Wild and from what I can tell is they count a few, then add some more that they may have missed then figure in the Birthing process for remember they have no natural Predators such as Mountain Lions and Coyotes that do kill Foals and then give it to some guy with a computer program and come up with whats on there HMAS which is a Herd Management Area and he comes up with accurate numbers out there SERIOUSLY FOLKS thats how they work. I then asked him about two upcoming Roundups of which he had no clue and referred me to the Public Affairs Lady in charge of which I told her my name and she heard I was coming and I thought that was interesting and she informed me of the delays on the Roundups with no real explanation Go Figure and I got to thinking after all the driving Ive done in two days to find out Roundups are delayed, I may have to do this more often and maybe theyll cancel them and leave our Wild Horses Free I can only Dream but will do all I can on the Advocacy front for those without a voice. Equine time tomorrow with Kelly Hyatt, Eddie Floyd and Shari Floyd and hopefully see Chanti so my trips are never wasted and Mondays Photography Day.
