So heres what we came up with from our #midweekread exercise - TopicsExpress

So heres what we came up with from our #midweekread exercise yesterday: A good book is like a river in its youthful stage, characterised by so much vigour. A good book is like a garden carried in the pocket. A good book is like a blood relative, you can not put in words what it can do for you. A good book is like a breath of fresh air! A good book is like a mirror reflecting society wholly. A good book is like a spirit; it possesses you and you have to do its bidding. A good book is like a lovely dream; you never want it to end (yet you still want to know the end.) A good book is like a feast - you want to share it with everyone. A good book is like a gardener; it plants a variety of thoughts in ones mind. As to the reading list: The Runaway Jury by John Grisham Sands of Time by Sydney Sheldon The Memory of Love by Aminatta Forna Ways of Dying by Zakes Mda While Gods are Falling by Earl Lovelace Written in Red by Ann Bishop Like a Virgin Richard Branson The Luminaries by Eleanor Catton Exercising your way to Financial Fitness by Muriithi Wanjau. Whew! And we thought it would be easy to decide. We had to do a mini ruffle, throw in all your names into a baking bowl and have the reading robot pull out one. And the reading robot pulled out one Hil Billys name as the winner of 100/- airtime! Keep reading Hil! And everyone else. See you next Wednesday for more #midweek reading.
