So humbled to have the support and friendship of Emma Miller, one of the most positive and passionate locals Ive ever met! She also runs a mean boot camp through her fitness business EmPowerFX! Emma and I have been working on a project called the Cairns Interurban Trail Network, aimed at linking up existing tracks, trails and drain corridors across the suburbs to promote liveability and healthy, active lifestyles. I took up running about nine months ago and its been the best thing Ive ever done for my health and energy levels. Im very pleased to report Minister David Crisafulli visited us yesterday to confirm he will seek $200,000 in funding for the Trail Network through the Local Government Grants program if Im re-elected on January 31. Thank you Emma and David!!!
