So i flick the tv on, and paxman is on Jack Whitehalls show Backchat. I only caught the end of the part where they discussed Russel Brand, but paxman said with reference to Brands comment regarding not voting, if you cant be bothered to vote then you have no right to comment on politics in this country - or something very similar to that (ive forgotten the exact words). I get the feeling paxman still doesnt actually get it, its not that russel - or others with a similar mindset, cant be bothered to vote. Thats lumping brand in with those who dont actally care about politics or the fate of this country. Not voting for political reasons is an entirely different thing. It makes me think paxman doesnt actually understand the whole message brand put across as to why he feels there is no point in voting what-so-ever at this current time. Thoughts?
