So i have already had 2 call backs on my applications i submitted today. #1 was for a entry-level position to train for management of a new Verizon fios store in Moreno. Would cost to much in gas for the amount of pay. Had to turn it down. But when they open one closer they will let me know. #2 was working for a congressmans office collecting signatures for the repeal of the plastic bag ban. But i would have to drive to riverside or upland for training (didnt sound to bad). Then once ive collected my signatures, i would take my sheets and drive bak to either riverside or upland. Turn them in and receive check. This one is commission work . ($2.50 per signature) not a guaranteed hourly wage. With finances being what they are, i had to turn it down. But like the other im first on the list for next opportunity. Dammmmmm i wish my truck got better gas mileage. Then i could have done it no problem. That was 2 of the dozen or more i applied for today. So there is still hope!
