So im at walmart heading back to my car. a clean cut old guy comes up to me and asks if i can give him and his few tools a ride home 20 blocks or so away for 5 dollars. i said absolutely and his body dropped all his worries away and his spirits felt lifted instantly. turns out he was diagnosed with cancer 12 weeks ago and he is starting to have seizures so he recently gave up his license. a few weeks ago he forgot his wife. girl figure. at the mall and she told him at the time she would get back at him. sure enough she didnt show up to pick him up from work and he was sitting at home depot for the past hour trying to get a ride. good karma is on its way for you alex. i really appreciate this. im not in this for the karma. it completes me to help people out. we all need to help each other out more. if he didnt have a wallet full of money i wouldnt have made him pay me. it was such a short drive and realisticly it was not out of my way at all. but i was just complaining i dont have enough money for the next couple weeks. moral of this novel reach out and help strangers out we are all human together.
