So im going to float some thoughts and I would be interested to hear peoples honest feelings about this, try not to judge others though, be nice kids:) So how many people harbour feelings of hatred and/or a desire for revenge on the cult? I ask because I was in another group and this guy said he didnt want to see an immediate and total collapse/destruction of the cult because too many people who are true believers and have given their lives to the organisation would be totally devastated and unable to cope with the sudden loss of what was literally the meaning of their lives. He painted a picture of mass suicides and mental breakdowns if the cult shut up shop tomorrow. I agreed with him that is what would likely happen....however....I dont feel that is a bad thing. To me those people who are truly dedicated to the cult are responsible for destroying other peoples lives, covering up for pedophiles and destroying families. They deserve to have the meaning of their lives taken away and be left in despair. Thats the way I see it anyway, I am not the forgiving/compassionate type so I have a slightly different perspective on things like this. What are your thoughts?
