So immensely sad that protecting that utmost natural of life - seeds - now needs to be defended! Seeds may need to be to protected from being used! Have you heard of seed libraries? They are libraries (yes - in many public libraries!) in which - just like books - local seeds are stored. You can borrow such seeds, grow them in your garden, let some of their plants go to seed, and return these now locally adapted seeds to the library. But now even seed libraries are under attack.
