So in amazingly 5 short months Holly will be 7 when she was 4 I promised her a mermaid tale (for the water) at 7 if she could swim across the pool. In swim class she is working on diving already but she has trouble with side breathing when swimming so hasnt Made it across yet. Today she asked if this counted. I had no idea she could back float across the pool. By this time it was the third time and she was getting tired so her foot goes down to give a push but the first two times she kept them up the whole way... It certainly solves the side breathing issue.. BUT the point is she is almost SEVEN when I made that promise it seemed miles away now its like only inches how has she grown so fast! And she has NOT forgotten my promise
