So in my last semester at Humboldt State, Im looking to help build a Student Labor Action Project (SLAP) presence at HSU in association with the California Student Union (CASU). I have a call with the Jobs with Justice coordinator next week who will help us put these pieces together. There is an urgent need to organize and mobilize students for social and economic justice inside and outside our campus; SLAP can hopefully fill that void through direct action and open confrontation of the problems we face.
