So in the car this morning Marley starts coughing (every time she has a coughing spell she vomits) so I was trying to hurry and get to our destination before it happened but I didnt make it. So I start trying to talk to her and soothe her by telling her its ok because she is also crying by this point. Then Reese says Uggghhh Mommy, when is Jesus going to help Marley? I was at a loss for words. There was pure silence in the vehicle after this, Reese was starring at me, Marley was starring at Reese and i was thanking the lord for giving me such a precious life and not giving up on me! Words cannot describe how that made me feel by hearing something so simple come out of my 4 year olds mouth. Her and Marley truly are my little miracle angel babies. At the end of the day when my house is a wreck, when Im running on zero motivation, when I barely get supper fixed in time for them to eat and go to bed, when It takes me two hours of steady persuasion to even get them in bed, when I feel like giving up, these little moments like this is what keeps me going... It was only a few seconds but I know Im doing something right and that makes me feel unexplainable. It makes everything more than worth it. That lets me know she hears what I say, she sees what I do, she wants to be just like me, and that is my motivation to keep on pushing and be a better person everyday. Children are not dumb, they watch your every move so the next time you do or say something, think about if you would want you child doing or saying it because you are their only role model. They want to grow up to be just like mommy and daddy and they should have a good example to go by. I am not perfect by any means but it makes you feel so good to hear a toddler talking about Jesus.
