So...it has been several days since the shooting of Michael Brown. Forensics has done their job as the scene. The officer has provided his account to his department. His weapon and magazines have been taken by the agency, checked for proper functionality, and the rounds in the magazines counted. An autopsy of Brown is scheduled. There was only one witness who was not the shooter or the victim. His name is Dorian Johnson and he was the one walking with Brown. Oddly, though Johnsons attorney has contacted the police department to arrange to have Johnson give his sworn statement concerning what he observed, the department declined the offer. Does anyone in their right mind imagine the departments determination will be anything but a bullshit white-wash if they decline to interview the only witness other than their own employee, who just happens to be the shooter?
