So it would appear that my macbook is screwed up in some subtle way that caused files I was working on to disappear. Ive tried a few fixes and run disk utility in safe mode to no avail- it doesnt seem to detect anything wrong but Im almost certain I did NOT have 200 GB free on my hard drive days ago. My PC is also seizuring uselessly on basic applications. Great timing, machines. Great #$%*ing timing. Just when I get work that requires computing, computers fail and I have no way of making enough money to fix or repair them WITHOUT ONE MACHINE OR ITS BACKUP WORKING. Its like having two cars shit the bed at the same time. Hopefully I have more success figuring out exactly WHY my files are ghosting on this macbook before something worse happens.
