So, its 1st December so were officially allowed to talk about Christmas now. Also, the countdown has begun to what we hope will become a regular tradition, the Dynamite Billy Christmas Party at The Castlegate on the last Friday before Christmas, this year on 19th December. So, to get into the mood for it, lets have a Dynamite Billy Advent Calendar. Behind every door will be a song from the repertoire. No guarantee itll feature in the set on the 19th, as theres limited time, and we have well over 4 hours of material to choose from. Behind door number 1 is a song that caused some arguments/discussions about whether or not we should do it at all. Is it just too cheesy? Do the keyboard parts transfer to guitar? Would we be able to deliver it with a straight face, and would we get laughed off the stage for trying. As it happens, every time weve played it, without exception, its gone down an absolute storm.
